What is Spirulina?
Spirulina is a microscopic blue-green algae that has been used as a nutritious food source for centuries. Spirulina is one of the most nutrient-dense food known, providing a wide range of highly absorbable essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.
Spirulina lacks the hard cellulose cell walls of most plants making it highly bioavailable to the body as it easily broken down to absorb the abundance of contained nutrients.
Where does biolyn spirulina from?
Biolyn spirulina is grown in pollution free environment and away from commercial, agricultural or industrial land. The cultivation plant is located at Changhwa Hsien,Taiwan which is an area enjoys plenty of sunshine, fresh air and pure alkaline water.
It is cultivated without using pesticides or herbicides. We’ve applied the cultivation technology from Japan and spirulina is monitored under strict quality control to ensure it is free of toxin and others pollution. 4. What is the difference between spirulina and chlorella?
Both spirulina and chlorella are high in dietary fibre which helps the bowel movement. Chlorella has a thick cell wall. This wall must be mechanically or chemically broken in order for the body to be able to digest it. In contrast, spirulina has a thin cell wall, its nutrients is easily absorbed.
